this site is still around. I ( Rob) havent came here in like a year, and though well I'll drop by today to see if the site is still up and oh my god it is.

I see people still have loads of problems with there cars, and see people still giving lots and lots of bad advice as usual.

I'm glad to see lots of people though dumped there cars it seems, best thing I ever did was get rid of that piece of crap. Owned it for two years and had a new problem every month, wasted thousands on fixing that piece before dumping it.

By the way for those wondering, my Cavalier has 23,000 bow only problem it has ever had the front rotors warped and had to be resurfaced, other than that perfect car, love the thing.

Anyway for those who still own a Contour, best advice I can give you, dump the thing.

I thought this site was a Contour Enthusiasts Group. What problems did you have with your Contour?

Oh my god everything, holy crap like basically it is easier to say what didnt fail.

I dont even remember all the stuff. I just remember when I finally decided to sell it. On a Thursday I spent $825 for a timing belt/tensioner, pullies, serpentine belt, spark plugs and a water pump.

The VERY next Tuesday car would start, had it towed to a shop. It started fine for them, they found nothing wrong. The next day I go out to start the car, wont start. Sold the thing five days it was gone.

Well, I'm certainly glad that you, Mr.robertchevy, could take the time out of your busy day filled with pounding your pud while looking at your beautiful Cavalier.

I'm so happy to hear you bought a new car. I was going crazy wondering about you and what you were driving and why you couldn't grace us with your presence and automotive knowledge. I'll finally get a good night's sleep.

HitmaninMI by chance? Sounds just like him!

My car actually, Robert, is eleven years old and has had no failures except a waterpump at 50k miles. The car is MINT- and well respected by local GM guys who probably teach you about your own car.

This post is Instaban for you! And I hope it serves up.

Oh, I'd bet a ton that this is (s)HITMANinMI... saw he had posted up in his old W. Great Lakes forum again. What a douche.

I think it is hitman as well. The mods and I will research to make sure it is him and enforce his permaban.
