Oh sorry... I only fell asleep about 3 times during the race this time. I even recorded it and got about 10 hours sleep to prepare for it. NExt time I'll try 13 hours sleep.
You guys should try World Superbike or MotoGP. I swear you won't nod off and... Oh... Get this... They like... Pass people. REGULARLY!
No I promise it's the truth!
MotoGP is the sh!t!

I thought it was a darned exciting race! Kimi's drive was amazing from DFL to 3rd, but I was stunned by Nico Rosberg's drive in the Williams Cosworth. From a first corner incident that saw him pit for a new nose (dropping him to last on the track) to a 7th place finish and most impressively fast lap of the day in what was a downright awful package last year in his first ever F1 race showed real talent. The Cossie motor is clearly something to recon with but that kid's drive was incredible. The passes he made, especially the one on David Coulthard, showed that he must be the guy they x-rayed for the "Pinks" print ad. Major stones on that kid. I think I may have a new favorite driver!

Rosberg Looked un-real! What a drive. Same goes for Kimi. He will be in Ferrari Red next season. Ever notice Ferrari's crew never screws up Schumi's stops? Always his teamate's. I don't know how many times they did that to Rubens over the years. Massa's first race-Bingo. 50 sec. stop? What the Fick?

You might very well be right, but i think if mclaren can can stay reliable, kimi will win a championship. and he will prob. stay.(at least one more year. Remember last year the mclaren was 10x's faster than everyone else. They just had a hard time finsishing races, and not blowing up motors in qualifing. At the looks of this race, mclaren might again have the best package. I predict if Kimi finishes 80% of this years races, he will win his first championship.

Well thats the thing, hes already been thru it all. and in his interviews you can hear the disapointment in his voice(even when he finishes 3rd), so he might already be over mclaren, and have already lost faith in him. It all depends on if its the car that makes him that fast or if its him making the car fast, The thing that makes me think its him and maybe not the car is, JPM drives the same car, and cant do squat.(and two years ago when he was with williams, people were calling him the next schumi ) So only time will tell. Either way its gonna be a hell of a season.

Amazing sounds...
Amazing colors...
Amazing speed...
1st race was everything I hoped for this year. Michael was fast, Alanso showed that last year wasn't a fluke, Kimi showed that the "Ice-man" can bring the heat, Honda showed that they have a good package, Cosworth showed that it know's how to make a V-8 stout, JPM showed that he's the top candidate for Renault next year, and Nico showed that he can run with the best of them.
Yeah, MotoGP is the Shizzz (if you read today's MotoGP.com newsletter, fricken Kawasaki/Nakano set top times at Jerez...ahead of Rossi and Capirossi)...and WSBK is pretty damn close with Corser, Bayliss, Haga, Toseland, and Barros, but F-1 is just the pinnacle of speed and tech.
I'm doing the double-header this year...F-1 at Indie and MotoGP at Laguna Seca. I'll let y'all know which get's the heart beating faster!!

this was a great start to the season. all the cars, but Toyota, looked to be in top form. and i like the gritty, almost dirty sound of the V8 over the V10.
predictions:
- The driver's title will be fought between M Schumacher and Alonso all season and will be sweet to watch.
- Constructor's title will go as follows: 1) McLaren 2) Renault 3) Ferrari
- Fisichella will get passed a lot this season.
- Midland and Super Aguri will score 0 points until Japan in October
- Massa will have trouble finishing races
- Nico Rosberg will have people's heads turning all season and will score in the points for at least 80% of the races
- Ide will be replaced mid-way through the season
- Scott Speed will podium at least once
- Button will never finish above third
For Sale:
- Sony PSP with a Baseball 2k6 and the movie Crash. $100
- 1973 Karmann Ghia Convertible w/ Auto-Stick. Needs Restoration. $1200 OBO
