ok well thanks for all the stuff guys i lost the rod that links the two butterflys and i went to ford and you cant get in sepret duz anyone know were i can get one ?? thanks and im 20 so you dont have to talk kiddy talk to me thanks

Okay, well thanks for all the stuff, guys. I lost the rod that links the two butterflies. I went to Ford, and they told me you can't get them separately. Does anyone know where I can get one? Oh, and I'm 20, so you don't have to talk to me like I type.



That might give you a clue as to why people are talking to you in said manner.

I think you just answered your own question. By having having both the primary and secondary ports open you are actually slowing down intake velocity in the lower rpm's.

Go to a junkyard and get the link you need, then get the plastic clips it snaps into from the dealership. They're like 5 bucks (US) or something apiece, but you won't have to replace them soon if you get new ones.
