Yeah. Untie it.
You are not doing yourself a favor by having the secondaries stuck open unless/until you have a bunch of modifications.
You are likely HURTING your engine's performance in the lower rpms.
Or is that what you were looking for?

Yep. But the secondaries open on their own when needed. At low revs, using a narrower, longer intake will get the air in faster. That's what the secondaries do: change the intake geometry so that it's optimized for both low and high rpm. Do you think Ford would spend all that money on the secondary system if it hurt power? They are the only reason we have a 3000lb car that feels good in the low rev range with only a 2.5L engine.

yes thanks two cool. this is exactly how enthusiasts should act to one another. the newer member asks a question, he/she gets an answer, he/she thanks the other members for their help. it is just proper. we dont need every pimple faced 16 year old virgin momma boy high pitched voice having closet homo wacking it to brokeback mountain to get upset when they get an answer and then turn around and call the person that is helping them a name. i dont get that really.

Here is what Mikey is talking about...
Basically a perfect example of what NOT to do...

Would be nice to have everyone's age displayed... would make it easier to talk to. I.E. a young person, you know they haven't been around the block yet.
Oh, and you can call people old too!
