Ok, the tour has been sitting for months notw, and i wanna get it back on the road.

We have replaced a good bit of vaccuum lines, replaced the module that is behind the passenger side strut tower(forgot the name), and have changed the plugs.

Now heres the problem. When in neutral, when you rev it up a lil, it has a very noticible hesitation, and then will go through the rpms fine. Now once in gear, once you start to let off the clutch, the car will basically makes you look like a newbie behind the wheel of a stickshift. It bucks violently, and doesnt really go very far. The more skinny pedal you try to use to compensate for the clutch, the worse it gets.

Anyone have an idea where to look to next? Maybe egr, iac or something?

Try IAC, MAF cleaning and change the fuel filter.

It could be many, many possibilities.

1. If you have not done a tune up an a long time.
Perform tune up, new wires, new plugs, new fuel filter. Check vacuum hoses, check irmc.

Still have problem.

do upper and lower intake manifold cleaning and replace gaskets, injector nose seals, etc. also clean behind throttle body, remove from uppper intake and clean egr passeges, etc.

GIT,

Did you ever decipher and repair your problem? My problem sounded pretty similar to yours.

I pulled off, cleaned, re-gasketed these items this past weekend:

EGR
IAC
TPS
TB

The only ones that I got anything off of were the TB and IAC.

I also replaced my fuel filter.

My problem seems to be fixed.

Good luck!

Ok a quick update on the situation.

i got my lazy azz u ptoday and went out to see what i could do. I decided to go back to the stock plug wires since ive heard of people having problems with their FRPP wires after a while. So while i was swapping them out, i found oil in and on the #2 boot. Any probable causes i need to look at here? is this a problem that needs to be looked into farther, sooner? It wasnt a substansual amount, just a this layer inside, and a couple drops on the outside.

but, this cured most of my problem. Now i have just a lil bit of sluggishness, while accelerating. Nothing nowhere near as bad as before, where i couldnt even get going.

Oil in the spark plug wells is usually from a failed cam cover (valve cover) gasket. Changing the gasket should cure it.
