well guys I am sure it was a decent question because I read it on NECO myself about changing the pilot bearing so I been helping the guy out with questions and that was one I mentioned to him that he might find out. I on the other hand would have asked the same question to because I wasn't sure since I never did the 3.0 conversion yet. Give the guy a break I never saw where he was rude; he is just relaying info for his mechanic and wants to make sure he has all his "i" dotted. Hey Robb sorry man after reading the post obviousily you don't need. Just compare your 2.5 crank to the 3.0 and make sure it alike where it makes up. Good luck on your project
