You don't know what you are talking about. It all depends on how you drive the car. LS1/LS2 cars can EASILY get damn close to 30mpg on the highway if you don't drive like an idiot or you decided to stay in 5th gear instead of 6th. My buddy just picked up a LS2 GTO, let me see what kind of mileage he pulls on the highway. Heck my LT1 that I used to have which wasn't stock, pulled like 27-28mpg on the highway and that car was 11 years old.
