So I'm lloking at purchasing an '06 and had a few questions for those on here that own GTO's.
My total out the door price would be about $31,500 after rebates and including a 5 yr 100K extended warranty, tax, and title. Does this sound like a fair price for the Los Angeles area? So far it seems to be a decent price from all the price quotes I have received.
Also, what kind of real world mileage are you guys getting? I know this is not the type of car you buy when worring about gas mileage, however I am just trying to figure out the real world cost to own this car in comparison to its competitors in my shopping. I live and commute in the Los Angeles area, so 80mph drives are very not very common for me, especially since my commute seems to take me by what seems to be every Highway patrol in southern Califorinia. I plan to keep the car relatively stock, except for a CAI, short throw shifter and suspension upgrades. With similar mods, and stock, what kind of real world milage are you guys getting?
I also have heard this car requires a special oil filter only available through the dealer. Is this true?
