I've met good & bad. Acouple of guys I went to high school w/ became officers Both of them let it go to thier heads, but i've known an AL state trooper for years & he is one of the best guys you will ever meet badge or not! He let me off for under age drinking, of course I was married w/ a kid & one on the way. Saying that all cops are idiots b/c of the actions of a few is almost like racism, in my book!
The last ticket I recieved was for running a stop sign, The cop was parked/hiding @ a 4way, as I approached a lady pulled off & really cut the corner. I had to stop A couple of car lengths from the sign then I pulled up & rolled through it. Technically I did run it, but in the circumstances I don't see why he didn't ticket the lady cutting the corner. I mentioned it to the officer politely, took my ticket, & went on my way, but If you guys are mouthing off to them of course they're going to throw the book at you, Duh!
