did you poke holes in your stock muffler so it could be louder?

Is that the redneck way of making a dual exhaust?

yes, thats why i did it. its not too loud though. barely noticeables still at 55 and above. around 1500 rpms it really reverberates inside the cabin, but only when im on the gas. i drilled a hole in the outer case. it did not make much difference. so i saw there was another wall past that chamber. i used tin snips to pry open the existing hole and drilled some more holes in the next chamber wall. that did it! sounds darn near perfect. almost
no, that is not redneck. i am not even a redneck. what gave you that idea?

and thank you msvg very much for the resize, its greatly appreciated

yeah, its cracking me up too.. if you really wanted a louder exhaust for no cost, just get a hacksaw and cut the damn thing off, dont make it look absolutely horrible. Or you can just get an Ebay one for cheap and have it welded on.

Wow! You know dual flowmasters installed by a reputable shop could be had for around $200-$300. That would be much better than what you have right now IMO.

yes it would be. but i only have negative $534 right now. so anything expensive is out of the picture. im wanting to get a cheap ebay muffler, but parents say no, not till you have your debt gone. and you cant see the muffler standing up, so you dont now theres a whole in it when i pass by. you practicly have to lay down on the ground to see the hole.

they also didn't want me cutting anyting off till my debt is gone.
