Seems like a fluke. I wouldn't be concerned about buying a Fusion. Get into a front end crash driving an S-10 and you may be lucky to keep your legs.





Be concerned about your insurance rates, however. My mom bought a Fusion and was then shocked to receive her insurance bill. Just over $1000 every six months. My mom has never had an accident or a speeding ticket in her life. Insurance on her 2001 F-150 SuperCrew was never more than $600, even brand new.

The insurance company referenced this very test as the reason for the rate.
