no I do not believe that it will work the pin outs would be different.

and one person has but he has a 98 and there is info to prove that it did add power

I was going to do this but it is to much hassle, just going to get an xcal2 and call it a day

tour96SeVT tried but it didn't work because of the harness differences.

He's full of it.

There is no way in hell you would gain more then a couple HP tops and you would need to run premium fuel all the time. Even a custom tuned chip is not going to net any where near 20 HP and it would be light years above the crappy stock SVT tune.
I find it downright hilarious that people try to swap to and even actually swap to an SVT PCM. The stock code sucks. They spend hundreds just to get a POS stock SVT tune. What a waste of money!!!

The X-cal2 chip is the best thing on the market right now. For $300-400 you get an okay preset tune and the ability to fine tune the important areas. For those that truly need it there is the racer package at $650-700 and you get full ability to tune.

Regardless of what PCM you are running it boils down to this. Your are tuned or your are NOT tuned; Period.

2000 SVT #674 13.47 @ 102 - All Motor! It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.
