i concur. magnaflows are awesome.

that might be my next exhaust system..very soon

Getting tired of the Borla? And yes, i bet the magnaflows sound kickass. I know my Magnaflow resonaters sound sweet.

The borla sounds amazing with the headers, it has the EXACT deep note that I always wanted outa my Borla..the exhaust shop guy was like cut out the mufflers and resonators and use them up with a 2.5 piping..I was like ummmm...lol

not to mention borla is 2.25" so it wouldent fit..

But yea, how much did it cost you altogether for the subframe connecters and the headers?

My guess about the factory y-pipe + WR fitment is that the bolts won't line up. My factory y was always a pain to get on and off because the bolts were not parallel. I don't have that problem now

BTW Thanks Jim for letting me copy you there!

Thank you Stazi for being you same old supportive self .

It could have been operator error, it was 4am, but I sure as heck dont think so, For the record I said OPTIMIZED Y, the dimensions Could've possibly been changed when it was cut, but thats about as much of a longshot as me not being able to handle my pipe! It bolted up but the actual flared pipe would not slide ove the bulb of the rear header. I didn't have the front or the middle support tightened either. If I was really thinking I would have snapped a pic but I was so tired & frustrated I just drove it home like that & took it to my buddies shop the next day! It really doesn't matter anymore now b/c its fixed.

Am I the only one that feels that we should maybe move this discussion to the Duratec performance section? There is alot of good info coming out of this, not neccessarily mine.

Stazi What do you think about where I cut the EGR tube? I'm honestly asking b/c I dont see why I had to bend the crap out of it to fit!

I posted a REALLLY good pic of where to cut and install the compression fitting on the EGR pipe. It's right above the two smapling tubes for the DPFE - here is the picture again.

You guys are driving me flipppin' crazy. All I did was search for "compression fitting" in Duratech Performance and vio la found this link:

I haven't started on the tranny project yet this saturday I'll be doing my exhaust almost completly over to try to "unricer" it! I wanted to get the exhaust done then maybe one more bolt on before I look into a tune, then I'll drive it while building the tranny. I better get on the ball before Torsen follows Quaife In the price game & i wont be able to afford a LSD!
Have you made it to Ga yet?
