oh ok i'm just losing my mind. there is a stock flex pipe on the csvt right? if so then i'll be fine. i kinda remember seeing one when i optimized my y- pipe but i'm not for sure. its been a couple of years since then. i'll just craw upunder the car and take a look see.
so the wpr headers and y - pipe will bolt up to my 2000 csvt with no worries right? all i need to do is pre order a set of manifold gaskets from autozone.
what kinda bolts do i need for the y-pipe to the cat connection ? and can i reuse the stock bolts for the wpr header manifold to the wpr ypipe ? i don't think i have the spring locking style bolts when i crawed under it last weekend to check it out it looks like just standard bolts and washers no spring on the headers to the y pipe.

98 and 98.5 (IIRC) had a 2 bolt, spring connection. After that it changed to a 3 bolt, standard connection with a flex pipe.
So you having a 00, will be fine.

I got my tail handed to me on the install of these yesterday! I've got them on & took it to the shop today to install my mufflers, waiting on him to call now. I didn't get home until 4am this mornimg & am about to take a nap. I got a couple of pics that maybe helpful but I made alot of mistakes & found a couple of other problems that needed attention. When I wake up I'll post some of the pics. BTW my optimized Y-pipe WOULD NOT bolt up to these headers!
I don't "mod" I just fix what breaks!

I found a broken trans mount I meesed up cutting my EGR tube, The front O2 sensor wouldn't plug up after placing the header on(bung was on the other side). There was other stuff but I've been up since 6am yesterday morning brain is trying to shut down!
No I didn't remove the alt, But It sure looked like I was going to have to!

The Front upstream O2 is a real PITA to put on, i had to dremel part of the rad fan backing away to get it to work, let me tell you, screwing those thigns in is a major PITA becuase the wires spin with the o2 sensor and prevent you from screwing them in far enough.
How did you mess up the EGR? cut it in the wrong place?

Yeah I think I cut the egr tube in the wrong place, but I have it hooked up now just took a little extra pressure. I did the front 02 with the radiator out so it wasn't that hard & I didn't cut the fan shrouds any.
