Rather than take it to a mechanic, I thought I'd see if you guys could help since many here know the car very well.

1998.5 Contour SVT, about 71000 miles. I've only owned the car for just under 6 months so maybe these noises just happen when it gets cold out but maybe not.

- Front left wheel squeaks when going slow, and I can also hear it squeaking very quietly when I'm up to speed as well. Wheel bearing right?

- Sometimes when slowing down to turn and while going through the turn, I can hear a very slight pulsating grind that increases frequency with speed (Can't pinpoint it, I think it's the front left wheel). Usually happens when going about 15-20 mph and happens when going in a straight line too. Could this be the failed wheel bearing too? I'm positive it's not the brakes.

- A sound sort of like a creak but higher pitched comes from the rear right (and sometimes sounds like it's from the front right too but I'm not sure). It happens with every little bump in the road. Even if I gently swerve to the left or right I can hear it. Very very annoying. I remember when my mom's struts went on her car it would be a hollow creak sound only over speed bumps, but could it still be shot struts on my car? (It's lowered by the way, on stock struts).

Thanks to anyone that reads all of this

Gonna be an expensive summer, still need to replace plugs and wires and get headers and catback

it says you have lowered the SVT? If so, did you use the stock struts to lower? If thats the case them im going to have to rule out a new strut in the back, and the others probably arent in that good of shape as it is. I would seriously suggest a new suspension if you lowered on stock struts. It also is very possible you need new sway bar end-links and bushings back there, its common for them to fail.

As for the sound in the front... Sound a lot like a wheel bearing as you pinpointed.

Thanks man. And yup, stock struts. I guess I'll just save up some money and redo most of the rear suspension.
