Well you bought a base model sentra, not the performance model, so I'm not sure what you're getting at.
Consumer Reports and most other websites like it are pretty useless. A person could buy a car, have one little problem and tell them it's a piece of junk. Another can buy a car, have 20 problems, and tell them it's great. And you have no idea how these people treated their vehicles.
The key to keeping any car running for a long time is proper maintenance.
