I care about the platform and I am excited about the performance. Where our opinions part is when we talk about the realiability of the car. Ford has made some revolutionary vehicles and I would enjoy nothing better than to see them continue into the next century making great cars. That said, I don't think it is unreasonable to expect top notch reliability from a car, expecially when we are all aware that it is being done by some of Ford's competitiors. As a matter of fact I don't thik Ford has a choice if they want to stay competitive in business in the long term. I really don't think you can reasonably argue that Ford cars are as reliable as some of the Japanese automakers. I just read an article that is a little promising but shows that the US automakers have a long way to go to catch up to Japanese reliability.
