I think like most of us on here a six year old car is not new no matter how many extended warrenties you by, and that goes for rice burners too. We purchased a Honda certified car for my daughter, in less than 2 months 3rd gear syncro went out. I had to fight with the dealership to fix the car they certified as a "certified honda".
I have recently purchased a 98 CSVT and it too has issues. But I love the car. I have wanted one since they rolled off the line only now can I afford to have one. Most preformance car need alot of attention espacilly if they are not brand new, so if your not one to get you nails dirty, sell the car.
