How many miles are on the car? Honestly, quit blaming the car, and blame Ford service! It's a fuggin' car, and here's a reality check, THEY BREAK! Hondas, Toyotas, and even BMW's break! You've got a car that's 6 years old, so acting like it just rolled off the assembly line is your first mistake. If you've got a problem with the car, take it in and don't back down. Read your warranty and tell them that they have to fix your problem(as long as your warranty covers whatever is broken). Take some of your internet aggression, and apply it where it matters, at the dealership! As for your extended warranty being covered at different dealerships, I don't know. Again, read the warranty paperwork.
