if you're not going to use the stock wiring to power your speakers, then you can just run rca's from your HU to your amp and then new speaker wire to your door speakers. If you're going to use the stick wiring, you'll want to bypass the stock amp, since the one in your HU will most likely be better than that...and from experience with my exploder, the stock amp sounds like doo doo.
