Anyway, reading the post, it sounds like Army basic is easier than the 6 week AF basic I took about 2 years ago.
...and they just made the AF basic tougher. It's now 9 weeks, matching the Army's length.
And yes, I know that there is additional AIT training... but there is also tech school training in the AF. I went to the 6 weeks of basic immediately to 7.5 months of tech school.
