I just went on a cruise to Jamaica in January.

I was thoroughly unimpressed with Jamaica. It is one of the poorest countries in the western hemisphere and it is extremely dangerous if you leave the resort area or port terminal with an escort or with a tour. I would look into Cancun. I went there for my honeymoon and it was great. They should have it rebuilt from Hurricane Katrina and you can probably get a good deal. Or take a cruise. The places that I have visited in the carribean that I would like to visit again are Grand Cayman
, St. Thomas and Cancun.
