I was lucky enough to receive my SC when I was in H.S. Still have it. My opinion on the car...in it's class it had performance and technology not seen(for it's time). It was a great time and I have many great memories in it
. Looking at it in my garage now, I see a car that can be a 12 sec. car with work and not too much money compared to similarly sized cars. Head gaskets are the biggest concern. If you upgrade in the intake and exhaust area, from what I understand the stock guts will take around 350 HP and this can be attained w/bolt ons. More can be had w/ internal engine mods. Aftermarket part though aren't plentiful therefore aren't inexpensive. Overall, I think it's could easily turn into a money pit
