sounds like a decent deal, but is the price firm or is it negotiable?

Quite negotiable from what he e-mailed me. I have to actually turn in the plates on my car, but keep the Comp. coverage-it will end up costing me 6.25$ a month

Well, the days are getting shorter, so i figured it would be a good time to take the Wife away for the weekend to VT.

I cleaned out her Civic EX and decided to do a little preventative maintenance (i.e. clean the TB, check tire pressure, clean the interior, etc.)and found what looked like a mouses' nest inside the air intake system! I don't know who designed the intake box on the Honda Civics, but talk about a waste of plastic!!!

Geez, I had to use a 12mm socket and extension just to get the box cover off (held down by 10(!)bolts!), and realized something weird-the Throttle Body is actually affixed to the intake manifold vertically instead of horizontally and there's a long 6" tube leading into the manifold itself. The filter itself is a two peice job that's held together by a rubber gasket;however only HALF of the gasket has a filter in it, the other part is empty and fits over the TB opening.

Another laugh was talking to my insurance company today about how much my insurance would increase if I purchased something like a 1995 BMW M3 or a 1991 5.0L notch when I returned. I found out it goes up 500$ or so a year, and that's out here in the Boondocks!! I'd hate to see what the cost would be if I lived in Boston or Eastern Mass!!!

Honda gets pretty elaborate with the air intake systems. They do it to keep the intake system quiet. I'm sure you've heard a Honda 4 cylinder with an open element air filter, its about as loud as the exhaust. Removing all that fancy ducting and what not really helps improve the performance of the engine.

Yeah, I know Jay-I've been trying to convince her that she NEEDS an AEM cold-sir system ....I could've used some extra ponies trying to puch that poor Civic up and down the mountains in VT

My wife wanted to know why there are so many SUV's and Subaru's in VT-she found out when we got onto the DIRT road that lead to our B&B....ummm....more like MUD road. While she screamed expletives at me, I kept the speed consistent and just blew though what was there...I was quite impressed with the little Civic It was weird, however, seeing a bucket loader plowing MUD in the morning

Hey how, would you like to drive this "to work" every morning?? [img=http://img455.imageshack.us/img455/6431/iraqizfeb060457ie.th.jpg" target="_blank">] [url=[img=http://img455.imageshack.us/img455/6431/iraqizfeb060457ie.th.jpg]]]Brother in law in baghdad

spring in Vermont is called mud season.

Its no wonder Hondas are so popular with the import tuner crowd. Its so easy to squeeze a noticable ammount more power out of them.

I was surprised that her auto trans actually held gears with the more steep grades. For anyone who is interested in going to the B&B we went to, check this link out-WORTH EVERY DIME!!!!
