I would say that if it is not hissing when the engine is running, you are fine. If it is hissing after the engine is turned off (after reaching normal operating temperature), you should be fine too. I would be concerned if it is hissing with the engine running (as it would mean that your coolant would be boiling over before reaching normal operating temperature). You would have to add coolant more often than normal.
