I hate when people justify the power and the quality of their system based only on the MAX wattage.

agreed, I am running 1500 watts RMS people, that means ALL THE TIME, over 3000 watt max, the mtx 1501D is a beast, it nominally pulls about 150 amps and will kill the car if I didn't have the batcap 400. never thought 3 tens could be so mean(infinity kappa perfects)

why am I an idiot. yes it pulls 150 amps at max power, yes I have a massive cap. the alternator is going out anyway so I'm just going to get the HO 170 amp alternator.

ok, you got me, I should have put, is able to run at 1500 watts nominally all the time, and yes it does put that power out, I'm running into a 1.62 ohm load and it DOES put out a TESTED 1542 rms at 14.4 volts. But you should know all this since of course you know about the 1501d since you have installed them. I have one, have had 3 of them, I know what they do
