You KNOW they've been doing that for YEARS. Started with a few dozen plants & a couple of lamps.
I wonder how they got caught... What tipped off the police? Was it the power company that found the illegal hookup & couldn't figure out where the line went?
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

Shoulda used generators, I bet it was the power company that caught on. That is how they usually get agressive home growers, those grow lights suck quite a bit of juice.

They used to, but they've come a long way since then. Very efficient now.. or so I hear  Ask Marc Emery and his friends in BC, they've got it down to a science!
