Vulcan and Raceline (both in the UK) have engine kits for 195bhp build ups. Both are very good kits thats use carbs and are pretty much built up as much as the Zetec can. You may be able to squeeze another 15-20bhp (and thats being generous) out of the engine with more agressive tuning and compression. So that's 210-215bhp, with 15% drivrtrain loss, you're looking at 178-183 whp. The cost of both kits is over $4k american. Add in install and tuning and costs, and well that's why N/A is not cost effective.
