i was driving home last night, and i hit a bump. i don't know if the bump caused the problem or not, but after i hit it, my car wouldn't blow out any heat/air at all. no matter what i put it on, nothing would work. is it the blower motor or heater core that might of went? i have no clue. any help would be great.

Start by checking the blower fuses and relay.

F23, F37, and K14 in the underdash fuse panel.

If good, check the blower motor resistor pack for an open circuit.

I have had lots of no-blower contours lately also. All of them have been the feed for the high blower relay is burnt at the fuse box. Its a small plug in the corner with a big red wire (12 gage) and a smaller green wire. the red wire will be all black at the plug and when you pull the plug out it will be all melted and nasty. Check and see if this is the problem, if it is your resistor block is also bad, because the 3 lower speeds get power from a different source.

Not to worry if it is the problem, as it is a very easy fix. All you need for parts is a small 30 amp bosch type relay with a socket and a fuse holder. Reply if this is the porblem or not and I will tell you how to wire in the relay and fuse holder.

It could also be the blower itself is bad, sometimes turning the blower on, and smacking it with a small hammer or whatever will make them go.

well, i fixed it for now. with the combination of my ABS acting up and this problem, they both use the same big fuse (60amp) under the hood. i replaced it, which was a challenge in itself, they must have some special tool at ford to do it or something. now the problems are fixed. but i think it might of blown cause of my abs problem i had and i still don't know what caused my abs light to come on yet. hopefully they don't keep blowing.
