i was tearing down some sheetrock in one of my bedrooms and i found a tin can.
still sealed but with no label.
i think i am going to put this mystery can on Ebay.
what do you think i could get for it?
the sheetrock in the room was from the United States Gypsum Co. Copyright 1924.
so i have no idea how long this can has been behind the wall.
as for the contents, it doesnt slosh around like liquid and the can might weigh about a pound.

I would open it, personally. Could be a time capsule (highly unlikely but possible) ...

Man oh man do I love old houses with histories like yours ...

I like the whole mystery bit too... and frankly, I wouldn't want to see the contents. I would just pull along the edges to see if it's sealed well or if it was used to hide money.

I love that theory ! E-Bay to the rescue , LOL ! You KNOW someone will buy it ...

Pretty cool can , too . No sheetrock in my house - lath & plaster here . Someone would really have to TRY to lose a can in my house . I wonder if it had a label at one time - if so , where'd it get to ?? Maybe someone with a sense of humor ?

You might find the meaning of life in the can... or a small black hole... or really old baked beans... or an empty can that smells funny... who knows you might find a key to a bank safe that has the keystone in it(From the Da Vinci Code).

Take it to a medical office and hijack the X-ray machine and find out w/out opening it.
