I agree, go with new rims. I would also go with an intake and maybe new exhaust system. But my first mod would be a new audio set up. I dont know how extreme you want to go but a CF hood on that color would look sweet.

as opposed to modifying a friggin contour?

Lol, I have to laugh at that. The eclips definently has a bigger aftermarket.

Not really...

Really?

You do realize that MOST of that stuff is for the 1g and 2g DSMs...the ONLY real DSM.

Results 1 - 10 of about 41,600 for 3g eclipse aftermarket. (0.56 seconds)

It all went to crap after the 2nd Gen. The 4th Gen is better than the third, but still far from the tuneable monsters the 2G's were.

I say go with some sweet graphics on the sides and hood, huge aluminum spoiler, and 5" pipes that sound like lawnmowers on drugs!!! Then get some sweet altezza lights and stuffz!!! YEA!

But honestly, get rims and lower it and tint it. Thats all it needs, but I am not a fan of the eclipse so I can't give much input.

I totally agree.

With that car I would have to say ro rims/suspension and intake first.

I saw the show "test drive" on the speed channel where they were reviewing the new eclipse. They went to this shop and put it on the dyno for a baseline, then put intake and just a high flow axleback muffler on it and they got considerable numbers out of it.I think somewhere around 20-25 horsepower.
If I were him, I would look in to that peformance wise. But I agree with the other guys rims and lower it a little bit.

I saw that show too. Kinda hard for me to believe they got all that power from those two mods. I saw the dyno, but still.... . That seems like a lot of gain for just those.
