Excuse me for my lack of tire knowledge. Ive an EO1 99 CSVT. I replaced my tires last in Aug 04 with Fuzion ZRI 205/55/16's W-rated 90. They are completely bald. I need knew ones. A coworker wants to sell me his rims which are sweet with his tires as a package. The tires are 205/40/on 17's V rated 84. Its one inch/size larger and from my previos experience here, people have said one inch changed shouldnt matter much. I guess you really dont need to do anything else changed on the car for that. My only concern is the profile of the tire, will changing from those specs matter a whole lot on a SVT Contour. Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated. Thanks.
