God, idiot...there are some HUGE mechanical difference in the suspension and the 4.0L has been dropped for a new V6.
I think it is great! They didn't destroy the classic look...if they had done that they would have upset a LOT more people!
Haha. I'm surprised NOBODY caught on. They didn't make a Jeep wrangler in '96. It was the year of the switch over to the completely redone '97 models.  Thats for you Pete! 
Haha, I was just gonna mention that. Anyway, I think that the new Wrangler looks awesome, I am really liking that top too.
