I don't know why do people bother with Gremlin's, Vega's, or Fiero's?? I've seen plenty of those cars with massive V8's crammed in there. It's all about what a person whats to customize. If they're heart and soul is with a Contour then so be it. Someone could have said the same thing about putting a turbo in a Contour a few years back. But go figure someone went ahead and did it. Now look around... there's kits for sale and plenty of people asking "how can I do that?". If someone successfully converts a Contour to AWD here I'm sure more people will climb on board and parts may find there way into kits and then who knows. Look how many V8 conversion kits are out there for the Pontiac Fiero's! It's still a Fiero in the end, but who cares. It's fast as hell!
