That's a top-of-the-line sports car and a timeless classic. A restored Camaro and a C5 are very special, expensive things, and combining the best of both gives you a very unique car. There's a guy building a 65 Mustang - around an SN95 driveline and suspension. That's cool. Why bother with a Contour? Part (most) of the reason the car is good is because of the value! You can't (well, you can now... new Camaro, Mustang, Charger) get a classic looking car with a modern chassis, but you can get a nice-handling, quick, affordable sedan. Get a BMW or an Audi to go rwd/awd, but why mess with a Contour?
