(sarcasm on) Everyone says it's tough to hook up on this FWD platform and that RWD cars are better suited for putting power to the ground. But searching, I found nothing about converting our cars to all wheel steering. Has anybody ever thought about converting a Contour to AWS, then we could steer more naturally while driving in reverse? Because in reverse, we'd be RWD and I bet then we'd hook up! And I hear drag guys like the Ford 9" rear end. Can I put one of those in for my differential? I'd like to have the FIRST Contour to pull a WHEELIE, but not if I have to move my subs and amp out of the trunk. What do you think all this would cost? I plan to have the money for this in a year or two.
