it's been a long long time since i've come back to this site. Took my contour back on the road just recently and thought i'd check out whos still on. Guess really no one from this part of canada. hehe....
Anywho already noticed issues with my car. I wonder why I parked it?? hmm.... anywho... anyone know of a transmission place in or arounds edmonton?? Or anyone know how to replace/fix on?? I really hate driving this thing with all these random issues.

I had really good luck with Pro-tech Transmissions. They are on Yellowhead and 124 Street. They did my tranny on my Mystique.
I saw your car on Bellamy hill with some chic driving it. What is going on with the car? What sort of issues? Did you get my old intake installed? What are the current plans for the car?

feels like the trans is slipping and the 3rd gear syncro is all messed up. Soooo i really have no idea what to do. And that's funny that was my gf she lives in park square right on bellamy. Small world.

Kelowna TRED owner here, still alive, barely. I had a sweet run-in with another SVT owner in kelowna. We both pulled up in opposite turning lanes facing eachother and I had a pretty large sh!t eating grin on my face. It's rare to see an SVT around here.

Still around but don�t post much anymore. My car is in hibernation, parked in the garage. Probably put less than 500 kms on it since last oil change in September. Yah I know I will be changing the oil once it comes out of hibernation.
Big plans for the contour this year, I�ve been gathering parts over the winter:
Complete body kit,
Lightened & Underdrivin P/S and Alt pullies,
New headlights should arrive today or sometime next week.
everything will be goin on when it goes in for new paint and body kit install next month.
Hopefully the subframe connectors GB starts in newcougar forums soon, cuz I�m also planning suspension upgrades too; new spring/struts (koni kit?) to supplement the subframe connectors and the strut braces. The Koni kit is on my wish list most likely I�ll get the connectors and wait on the install until funds are available for a new suspension kit.

i'm stll alive,the contour is still put away for the winter+waiting to return to the road. I had to put new struts/springs on the mystique,one strut was leaking+the spring on the other side was broken,but I cheaped out and just put stock ones back in,no upgrades for the wife !!

Still here, still post in the P&V, Common interests, and Audio forums from time to time. Still Drive the thre cars under my post. Focus is getting some extensive body work this summer, fender will be extended 1.5" to accomodate the 235 tires I have picked out for it. Also the plate area on the hatch is going to become a smooth area with the plate holder moved down into the bumper. Then the car will need paint. Micra is a great beater, always will be. Ranger is parked as the alternator is not charging the battery. had it in the shop a couple times and can't figure out why...

I wrapped the Focus around a pole getting onto circle off 22nd... still not sure how but I'm in the market for a new car I guess.
