I'll take your word for it.

I too drove the Mustang GT before owning the Tour. Went with my dad (he was interested in it). I didn't like it. It didn't feel like a "sports car". It felt more like a Cadillac DTS than a sports car.

Driven a vette. NICE!

That's because a Mustang isn't a sports car. It's a muscle car. Two completely different styles of car.

Right, and having friends who have both cars they take about 5K miles to break in properly. They will drive kinda slow until the engines loosen up a bit.

I havent driven either of the cars but If I had the money now I would be looking into the Mustang GT and the GTO. At least the mustangs finally changed the interior since 94. It is interesting to hear that the GTO did not impress you.

Yea the gto really didnt do anything for me, i sit in the thing and my head almost hits the roof, i just dont like the body style the most , performance its OK in my mind, just becuase ive been in a srt-4 and a 97 stock cobra that have torn it apart, but it reminds me of all the other ponitac cars, just like the charger looks like the 300M same type of concept , the mustang to me reminds me of my uncles gt500 , just and old school muscle car that will go like hell in a straight line, and with help of roush performance itll really go and handle good when i get done with it. but this is my opnion i know alot of guys that love the car but not me.

Too bad the Renesis isn't ideal for a turbo.

Poor fuel economy?

MPH Magazine made a pretty good case for buying a used C5 this past month. If you can get by with two seats, that is.
