From what I understand the kids that took it over ran it into the ground and its now owned by the Suburban group. I also thought it was interesting that the Mazda/Kia dealership across the street, also owned by J-D, is no more. Any thoughts on the Suburban group and their service history

I never went there. Was that a good dealership? Where were they located? Thats a bummer!

suburban ford in waterford is great. i think that they retain most of the original crew at the dealer, and that will lead you to your answer.

Used to go there when we had our last two Rangers.....they sucked....their service sucked...their sales people sucked....I buoght the Rex from Suburban in Troy...they seemed cool but have never been there for service. Hodges is where the car has been going.....

Yeah, the other day when I drive by the Mazda/ Kia dealership I thought it was odd that there were no cars there... I didn' know jerome duncan was done too!

My Dad is a friend of Dick Duncan, i'll see if i can get any inside scoop. Dick was getting up there, he might have just sold it off and retired. He is one of the most grounded car dealers I have talked to. The dealership was always highly successful, I doubt they ran it into the ground financially.

I know where thats at...I couldn't place it but I drive out there frequently since thats about where I clean houses. LOL!

***UPDATE*** My mother-in-law took her Freestyle in there today to get the fuel gauge checked out. About a week ago I had to go to her work to help get her car started and after about a dozen tries it finally started, talk about almost being Found On Road Dead The next day she took it in and the re-flashed the computer and everything was fine right, wrong! Two days ago the car was showing half a tank and all of a sudden the guage went to "E" and the CEL came on and get this, when she took it in they couldn't find anything and told her to switch to a different brand of gas, WTF Diiferent gas makes the fuel gauge stop working right, give me a break already, thats some "forward thinking"
