But to be honest, our Tour engine is not easily tweakable like those 'boy ricers' STi, Evo. And I am same guilty as charged because I got the 9-2X. So far it is stock. I wanted to mod it but only to find I used all the available money to buy Tour mod parts. There's definitely something wrong with me. 
Think about it, is any one interested to put a V6 into Evo or STi (even WRX)? Once I saw a post that a STi with a V6 from B9 was dropped in and turboed. I think that can easily go over 450 with all the other mods. Any one?

Hell, the regular evo 4 cyl can easily go over 450 with some new internals and a big turbo. But then you are talking a lot of dollars as well. They are all good platforms, some better than others due to AWD,  but in the end it boils down to money.

Or get a Trans Am, an aggressive cam, headers, computer tune, aftermarket intake manifold, and a liberal supply of nitrous,and a nice heavy-duty rear-end and run in the 9's for less money than the cobra by itself w/out mods.
Can you say pulling in 6th gear?

Heck yeah. The 1.8L rocks. And you can fit the awd from the 323 in the festiva.
