Lance, why don't you bring your SHO to the Shelby Club event at Thunderhill April 7/8?
You'll probably see Nick Crimes and his friend Bernard (another SHO guy).
I'll be there in my Mustang.
Later.

Jeff,

Sounds like fun! I've been up to Thunderhill twice for 'street school', and really enjoyed myself. The Shelby group doesn't have a problem with other people [to a limit] coming in? I know there were a few of them at the last SHO event we did [Speedring], so I suppose it's probably pretty standard to mix it up a little.

I'll have to pull the S02s out of the closet, and get myself a helmet. Since I'd like to do more track racing I may as well buy one.

Do they require any safety equipment at those if you run in the novice or intermediate groups? The street schools never really required anything but I guess Sears Point requires a Fire extinguisher at least.

Well, anyhow, if you could email me that would be great:

Lance.Cheney@m.cc.utah.edu

Of course, I have to get the poor thing to pass smog first . Too much NOx and no EGR [non-cali car].

Thx for the info-

Kevin,

I'm interested. Can you email me specifics [head size, etc]?

And, on a related topic, does anyone know why, when you try to look up someone's email address in their 'profile', it always shows up as 'not available'? That includes looking up mine, and I know mine is setup to show it...

so how many of you will be bringing their SVT contours out to the track to race. My friend is taking his 00 SI to race and if i don't carpool with him i just might bring the 98 SVT and race.

Sac.
Sears doesn't open til March 7th. I'll go there if people show up, but i'm definately goin to SAC.
We could have 2 meets in a week. One at Sears on the 7th, and then one in Milpitas on the 10/11th!

Doh!

Though I'd love to be there and finally meet a few other Contour owners, there is no way I'm going on Valentine's day.

Hope to see a report up, though, for those of you braving the significant others' wrath [or, if you're like I usually am and don't have to worry about that...]
