It's been my experience that if you get something running and looking good...and put the time in it to do it right, it treats you good forever. And the fact that you know what's left to go wrong so that when something breaks you have a pretty good idea of what it is.
Save it! w/63K the rest of the car should still be good. catch up on the repairs and maintenance and then when/if something breaks upgrade. engine:3L tranny: LSD new car plus new car ins: lots more money. Only problem is if you total it your SOL but still probably ahead of the game.
