It also depends on the driver. My fiance's dad would never have let her buy a car that was RWD because of the snow and her driving ability. He grew up only driving RWD cars in the weather we have up here only only a few times he put them in the ditch...but that is more because of the type of car he had (60's-70 mustangs) and of course he had to have the biggest engines so that was a recipe for disaster (like my spelling). But then another freind of mine has had nothing but RWD cars and has only had a few times he got stuck because of the weight issue.
