Ditto, have the "American" cars are built outside of the US anyway and a lot of "Foreign" models are built in the US so whats the difference.

The difference is that, even though the cars are made here, the bank accounts your money goes into are in Japan. Or in Nissans case, France.

that may be, but you have to understand that this is the metro detroit area. and our economy lives and dies by the auto manufacturers. i parked my wifes celica (when she had it) in a neighbors driveway once(and he is a union stalwart) , and he nearly had it towed.

So true, My buddy lives in the Detriot area and he as an S200 but he gets alot of BS so he went out and bought a Dakota truck.

Most of the auto companies have stock dividends, so not really.

And if it did, does it really matter what nationality of the executive is that's lining his coffers ?

ODC you have a "Sweet Ride" it's a beauty!

I really like the 06' Mustang.
How about a Hemi Charger for 35k?

Give me a Mustang GT over the SRT-4 any day.

It's a performance Neon. But, it's *still* a Neon.

Yeah, the SVT Contour was *still* a Contour, but, give me a 'Tour over a Neon any day.

Ok first of all, the gnx is the ultimate muscle car my uncle had a gnx when i was little and i never knew what kinda car it was other than it threw me back in the seat and i couldnt move then when i got older we were talking and he brought up that he never shuold have sold his gnx and i almost sh** a brick... the gnx is my dream car by far. any way i really dont like the gto that much atall, i dont think there that nice and ive been in my friends srt-4 and my friends 97 cobra and spanked the gto both times. Ok so i went to both dealerships yesterday and ive come to the conclusion that the gt is the one for me , i had to order one because they dont have a black on black one for me but thats not a problem because i can wait. the gt seemed to be pretty quick good handling and the interior was nice , well as nice as a 25k car should be. i got 3 quotes from a dodge dealership about the neon and they wanted 21k for the majority of them. the only thing is, is that i ordered my gt with a good amount of options for only 26k and i have the extended warranty , so i think i will like my final choice and in the long run will be a better car. only bad part, is its going to take 12 weeks which is terrible but ill wait it out. ill post some picks when i get it.
