First hand I would go with the Mustang between those two cars. Think about it in a couple of years. What will look better and draw more attention. A mustang or a Srt-4. I would go with the Mustang hands down wouldnt even think about it (i like mustangs hahaha). But I think you should take a look at the GTO. Like stated above you know what you need as a DD and get what best suits your driving needs.

Mustang......classic

Think about rarity though. Not every Tom Dick and Harry has an NSRT4 or a GTO for that matter. Mustangs are a dime a dozen. What fits his DD needs is what really matters though.

i personally would go with the GTO myself...if it was an option. Faster then both, rarer, and only a little more expensive

True Mustangs are dime a dozen. But how many mustang drivers take care of the car like it should be. I really dont think an SRT-4 will be a collectors car. Yeah it will be rare but nothing outrageous. Like in my post I said go for the GTO . Once again like in my post I said do what best for you DD.

Yea the LS2 GTO's are REAL nice. I didn't mention those earlier because they are significantly more money especially when you try and get one loaded.

My friend just bought an 05 GTO in Torrid Red and that car is pretty damn fast even though its heavy. The interior is also light years ahead of the f-bodies. Extremely comfortable and quiet when not in WOT. The back seats are pretty darn cool too, they are spring loaded, so when you suddenly go WOT, they adjust to the person in the seat so they don't get thrown around.

My vote would be GTO over even the LS1 camaro/firebird, but again I figured that was out of his price range.

i dont know if the new mustang comes with an LSD but that is not the same thing as traction control. many new cars come with standard traction control these days, few come with LSDs, srt4 being one of them (newer models). and i dont know how anyone can say the srt4 is "old" now and has been around for "so long" we drive contours remember. and lets not forget those millions of guys burning up the drag strips in fox body mustangs still.

I have never heard of any newer model american V8 car not coming with limited slip or posi. That would VERY stupid on any manufacturer's part.

To sum things up, ALL Mustang GT's come with LSD stock.
