I just re-read his original post. Never mind, it's probably not a thermostat issue. Thought he meant to was slow to warm up to normal temp.

It's probably not overheating, either.

Only way to know for certain is measure the temp of the system with an external device such as a non-contact IR thermometer.

Typical operating temp should be between 195 and 205 F. The low speed fans should come on around 210 and the high speeds around 215.

Comparing the external readings to the ECT PIDs and the in-dash guage readings will give you a good idea of the system's performance.
