Simple task.. transfering contacts from PC to new cell... but Nokia is driving me NUTS!!
I had Sony (great phone when u use FMA) and I backed up my contacts in every possible way the FMA software allowed me to:
* Excel CSV file
* HTML
* XML
* VCF cards (270 little files)
I now got this Nokia 6682 and it is connected to the Nokia Suite BUT I cant find any "Import Contacts" options!!!
The only thing close to importing contacts is thru Synch with Outlook.... but I dont use outlook and i dont want to go that way.
There must be a way to upload my contacts to this Nokia... come on... I saved my contacts in 4 different formats!!!
So right now I have the Nokia Suite ( suxs big time ) and it if i try to drag the VCF cards it wont let me. Actually i tried dragging all 4 types of files but it wont take it...
Any help on this?? I know some people *LOVE* nokias and know how to deal with them... (actually the Nokia cell phone itself is BETTER than Sony... but man... if u only knew FMA.. it is like comparing DOS with Windows XP)
