The whole idea of a BMW 3 series is driving experience. The only thing the turbo SVT wouldn't have over it is fit & maybe the interior quality, but the SVT is a pretty darn good package. With the turbo & other upgrades Ray has, the driving experience is well beyond any BMW. The only other objection would be the headache of having to mod the car to get it to that level. Was no trouble for Ray as he bought the car in that condition.

Are you talking status symbol? The BMW is losing its appeal as a status symbol as every wanna-be on the planet has one now. At this point in my life, I wouldn't buy a new one even if I could afford it because of all the whiney p[self sensored]s that own them around here.
