I have found Berrymans at Wally mart, OReilly and AutoZone. Seafoam at OReilly. I wonder if our engines have injector problems that need a lot of attention? Maybe we need to dump injector cleaner in more often than we are?

"I wonder if our engines have injector problems that need a lot of attention?"
Nah, all fuel injectors need cleaning every now and then. I doubt many of us think about it until we have performance problems.

"Maybe we need to dump injector cleaner in more often than we are?"
Probably, if the "more often than we are" is seldom to never.

I've pulled injectors out of engines since the late 70s. I have never seen such dirt until I pulled the ones out of my tour. I guess the moronic design that kruds up the UIM/LIM dirtys up the tips on mine. Then we have deposits left behind in the injectors from the poor quality of the gas. Who knows what is in todays gasoline in the way of cleaner. When I worked at Gulf Oil many years ago I used to read the random test reports the states performed on gas stations. Some were hidious! Some of the off brands added octane boosters that ate up fuel system parts. They did this to meet the state requirement for octane - screw the public.

Is it my imagination or does Berryman B12 clean better than Techron? I always believed Techron was the best.

I think it depends on what you are cleaning. I think Techron is better for injectors and Berryman's may be better for other cleaning.

What about Lucas products? Specifically the Fuel treatment (I think the bottle calls it Upper Cylinder lube and Fuel Treatment)? Anyone used it with success? Failure?

I used a quart in my truck. Made no difference. But I used the transmission additive. Smoothed out some rough shifting in the truck.
