I'm sure he knows that much ... but the eyelet allows you to use chain hooks and also doesn't require any caution in assuring that the chain doesn't crimp against the valve cover too much to pinch a line/wire in the way since the chains ends will sit well above any wires/obstructions with two hook points. Not mention, the engine/driveline assembly is pretty well balanced with this setup, although it does tend to lean a bit on the transmission end since the tranny weight is right of the center balance point a bit, but nothing too bad. I cleared the bay just fine working by myself going slow with no "spotter"
